ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NCUA issued a letter to credit unions calling attention to modifications made to the fourth quarter call reports.
NCUA explained that the 5300 Call Report should be completed using the institution's records as of Dec. 31, 2006. All credit unions must complete pages 1-10 of the form. Page 11, the PCA Net Worth Calculation Worksheet, requires no input unless the Total Assets Election or Alternative Risk Based Net Worth calculation is used to compute your net worth ratio. The Standard Components of Risk Based Net Worth Requirement worksheet on page 12 is automated and requires no input. Supplementary schedules are on pages 13-16 and should be completed as necessary.
Fourth quarter call reports are due by Jan. 22, 2007. The agency encouraged electronic filing for efficiency, cost effectiveness, and accuracy.
