Shiloh of Alexandria FCU Celebrates Home Improvement Project

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Local government and credit union dignitaries turned out for a brief ceremony to share the success of Shiloh of Alexandria Federal Credit Union's recent Member Home Improvement project.

The member who benefited from the project was also the first recipient of Shiloh's Virginia Housing Development Authority loan program. CU National Mortgage also made some announcements about how it will be helping members of $1.14 million Shiloh of Alexandria FCU to realize their dreams of homeownership through new programs, like the one with the VHDA.

Alexandria Mayor Bill Euille, NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker, NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson, NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland, CUNA COO Richard McBride, CU National Mortgage President Michael McGrath, and representatives from the Virginia Credit Union League and Fannie Mae were expected to attend the event held at Shiloh Baptist Church.
