OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- Missouri Corporate Credit Union has been selected as a recipient of a 2006 Missouri Quality Award. The $755 million CU serves over 225 natural person credit unions in the U.S. In vying for the state-level award, organizations are judged against standards of excellence in the following areas: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer and Market Focus, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management; Human Resource Focus; Process Management and Results. "This award is testament to the outstanding employees who make up our organization," said Dennis DeGroodt, Missouri Corporate's president/CEO. "Missouri Corporate is committed to performance excellence in every phase of our business so that we can achieve our mission to help our members succeed." The credit union was formally honored at an awards banquet during the Excellence in Missouri Quality Conference held recently at the Tan-Tar-A Resort & Spa. Since the award's inception in 1992, only 38 organizations have earned the Missouri Quality Award. Past recipients include Sprint, Northwest Missouri State University and Boeing.
