America First Fights Fraud And ID Theft With Verified Access

SALT LAKE CITY -- Verified Access is the latest technology launched by America First Credit Union to ensure its members of a safe and secure online banking environment. The enhanced login system will take effect Jan. 1, 2007.

Verified Access provides the customization of images and phrases in addition to including a PIN number when logging into an account. The system takes minutes to set up and makes certain to members that they are logging into the AFCU site. The system will provide an extra layer of security and not replace current account numbers and PIN numbers.

"Identity theft is a very serious crime that has a deep emotional impact on victims," said John Lund, executive vice president at AFCU. "By implementing Verified Access, America First is taking an active role in making sure we are protecting our members from these crimes."
