SECU Credit Union Gives $1 Million Back to Members

BALTIMORE -- SECU Credit Union is showering its members with thank you gifts of over $1 million.

To celebrate its excellent financial year, SECU has opted to give back to members in a meaningful way. Thank you gifts range from $50 gas cards for anyone purchasing or refinancing a vehicle with a SECU auto loan; $75 cash deposit for opening a checking account with direct deposit prior to November 30, 2006; and waived fees for Online Bill Pay, use of ATMs outside of SECU's network and the $.25 fee for ATM and Check Card point of sale purchases. "SECU is having a good year thanks to the commitment of our members to trust us with their financial services needs. Because we are a not-for-profit credit union that exists solely to help our members achieve their financial goals and dreams, it is our responsibility--and our pleasure--to share SECU's earnings with them," said SECU CEO Rod Staatz.
