SAN DIEGO -- Over 1,000 people attended Point Loma Credit Union's recent 9th Annual Student Safety Fair at the PLCU Kearney Mesa Branch. The event was free and open to the entire community.
Students between the ages of three and 13 participated in a variety of games and events emphasizing the importance of alcohol and drug awareness, as well as the need to incorporate physical fitness into students' daily activities.
"PLCU is dedicated to our community and the Annual Student Safety Fair is the perfect example of the credit union's continued devotion to its membership and residents of the area," said Ted Dennis, president/CEO. "During the Safety Fair, students have the opportunity to enjoy themselves but at the same time learn valuable information that will benefit them in the future."
