HAR-CO Maryland Federal Credit Union, Bel Air, Md., awarded one scholarship to a student at each high school in the county. In addition, two special scholarships are presented, one in memory of HAR-CO board member and county teacher Edward V. Goetz, to a student who plans to take up environmental studies, and one scholarship in memory of Stanley A. Goldberg for a student planning to attend Harford Community College. The winners were selected from 52 finalists by HAR-CO's volunteer Scholarship Committee, except for the Goldberg Scholarship, which is awarded by Harford Community College in agreement with HAR-CO.
