Southern Select Community Credit Union, Kannapolis, N.C., recently awarded Brittany Troutman its 2006 scholarship. The CU's President/CEO Huyla Jackson presented Troutman with the scholarship, which she will use to attend Raliegh's Meredit College in the fall. Troutman, carrying a 4.0 GPA, plans to continue her study of dance and is looking forward to a career as a dance instructor. Troutman has excelled as a student and is also involved in many extracurricular activities and community and charity projects.
