GLASTONBURY, Conn. - The $1.6 billion Eastman Credit Union is converting to Open Solutions Inc.'s core system. Eastman is migrating from XP Systems, a subsidiary of Fiserv. Eastman was with XP for 17 years. The CU cited Open Solutions' relational database, business services functionality, and real-time disaster recovery as reasons for conversion. "We hope to see functionality improvements in several key areas, including business services, loan servicing, financial analysis and new product flexibility," said Darrell Dinsmore, vice president of information technology at the CU.
