EWING, N.J - Credit Union of New Jersey and Trenton Times Employees Federal Credit Union have merged effective June 1.
Faced with its main sponsor scaling back operations in the Trenton, New Jersey area and wanting to expand its product offerings, the $1 million TTEFCU started the search for a merger partner to provide long-term stability for its 300 members. According to TTEFCU execs, CUNJ with three of its branches in Trenton made for a natural merger partner.
CUNJ has $207 million in assets and serves some 33,700 members.
