RALEIGH, N.C. - Nearly 750 persons turned out for a recent seminar on retirement planning, and Coastal Federal Credit Union is hoping to keep the momentum going. The $1.5 billion credit union will hold more retirement investment strategy sessions throughout the month of May. Dubbed the "Food for Thought" seminar series, the free sessions, which will run May 3-31, are available for members and nonmembers. A May 24 seminar will address estate planning and several in late May will focus on strategies to save for college funding. In March, Coastal Federal invited Mitch Anthony, author of The New Retirementality to speak on ways to plan for retirement and how to live during retirement. Nearly 750 persons attended the two sessions, which were hosted by Coastal's Trust & Investment Services team.
