DOWNEY, Calif. - Financial Partners Credit Union is once again partnering with the Los Angeles County Regional Occupation Program to host three student interns from Downey High School. The student interns are interested in directing their careers in financial services, marketing or office occupations. "Partnering with the Los Angeles ROP is a win-win for the Downey students and Fiancial Partners. The students are gaining valuable work experience and learning about credit unions; while we are gaining potential future employees," stated CEO Nader Moghaddam. The Los Angeles County ROP offers 70 hours of in-classroom training in a variety of business occupations. Once the classroom training is complete, students then learn hands on at local businesses.
