Royce Expresses Cautious Optimism on CURIA
WASHINGTON-With 108 co-sponsors to the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 2317), it is off to a good start. But doubling that would be better, Congressman Ed Royce (R-Calif.) said. He urged credit unions to encourage their lawmakers to co-sponsor the bill during their visits last week. Royce is the main sponsor of the legislation. "Passing major reform legislation is never an easy task to get through this institution," he said of Congress.
