WASHINGTON-America's Community Bankers recently announced the promotion of one of its lobbyists following Dan Berger's move to head up NAFCU's lobbying team. Greg Mesack was promoted to director of government affairs earlier this month after having joined ACB in July 2004. Mesack holds a bachelor's in political science and history from Miami University and is currently completing his M.B.A. at The George Washington University. In addition, ACB brought on Jodie Goff as manager of accounting and financial management policy. She spent more than four years at the Federal Reserve Board as a senior financial analyst. "She will be an excellent resource for our members and take the lead in our accounting area," ACB President and CEO Diane Casey-Landry commented. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and earned an M.B.A. from The George Washington University.
