LIHUE, Hawaii - A joint effort of all of Kauai's credit unions to accept donations at branches has resulted in over $4,000 being collected to benefit Hurricane Katrina relief. Funds raised were donated to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Participating credit unions included the following: Kauai Community FCU, Kauai Government Employees FCU, Kaumakani FCU, Kekaha FCU, Koloa FCU, McBryde FCU, Lihue CU and Kauai Teachers FCU.
