MIRAMAR, Fla. - Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union helped spread the message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by supporting several events in South Florida. Eastern Financial has not only sponsored an MLK kick-off breakfast that was attended by nearly 300 people but also took part in MLK parades by hosting two floats manned by some 16 credit union staffers and riding in an EFFCU-wrapped Toyota Highlander and PT Cruiser. In addition, several local high school bands- along with the Florida A & M University Marching 100 and the Bethune-Cookman Marching Wildcats- showed their stuff to a sellout crowd for the 4th Annual Eastern Financial Band Extravaganza held at Florida International University. Eastern Financial also gave away special prizes and t-shirts at the event.
