MADISON, Wis. - CUNA is offering as one of its March 2006 education opportunities a week-long school on developing an effective residential mortgage lending program. The Residential Mortgage Lending School will be held March 13-17 in St. Pete Beach, Fla. and is designed to assist credit union lending staff in making their mortgage lending operations more competitive, efficient and successful. Over the five days students will cover residential mortgage lending strategies including loan policy development, business plan creation, secondary mortgage markets and loan servicing. The school will also discuss appraisals, underwriting, mortgage regulations, marketing strategies and relevant technologies available to CUs.
