PORTLAND, Ore.- It's official. Portland Teachers Credit Union is now OnPoint Community Credit Union. "The new name represents a bright future for our credit union, which at $2 billion in assets is Oregon's largest," said OnPoint Community CU CEO Cliff Dias. "OnPoint Community Credit Union's new 10-county charter will allow us to grow and expand services to current and new members, increasing our ability to offer reasonably priced, high-quality financial products to a broader community of consumers," Dias said. The credit union is currently in the process of finding a new CEO as Dias announced he would retire in 2006. Tom Glatt, once thought as a possible successor to Dias, recently resigned as executive vice president/chief operating officer upon learning he did not get the CEO job.
