WASHINGTON-CUNA said it expected the two NCUA Board nominees to get a committee vote shortly after deadline. After a total of more than a year-and-a-half of waiting, the NCUA Board is one step closer to functioning at full complement with the announcement of a Senate Banking Committee executive session vote on the Rodney Hood and Gigi Hyland Nov. 3. The next step will be a vote on the Senate floor, which typically goes the way of the committee report. No controversy was anticipated with the NCUA nominees.
