WASHINGTON-The Senate agreed to its version of the appropriations bill including NCUA's Community Development Revolving Loan Fund and Central Liquidity Facility and is now heading to conference. H.R. 3058, making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, Treasury, and Housing and Urban Development, the Judiciary, District of Columbia, and independent agencies (including NCUA), provides for a $1.5 billion borrowing authority for the CLF with $323,000 in administrative expenses and $950,000 in grant money to the CDRLF Program. The House and Senate bills are in agreement on the language concerning the NCUA programs. The House passed the bill back in June, 405-18, but the Senate just took action to pass it Oct. 20 by a vote of 93-1.
