Taleris Credit Union Helps Troops in Iraq Celebrate Christmas Early
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Taleris Credit Union staffers have helped the holidays come early for troops stationed in Iraq. Employees sent two-foot Christmas trees with everything from candy and cookies to razors and phone cards to brighten soldiers' holidays. This is the third year that the credit union has been involved in the "Hooah" Christmas Tree Project and this year mailed out some 24 decorated trees. The trees were provided by the SBC Telcom Pioneers, a group of retired telephone employees and will be delivered to Iraq by the USO.
