SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - When it comes to image sometimes a small change can make a big difference. Springfield Teachers Credit Union is hoping that holds true as it changes its name to STCU Credit Union. According to STCU Credit Union Chairman Roland R. Joyal the switch was essential in marketing a newly granted charter within the Pioneer Valley, covering Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties. STCU Credit Union is now able to open new accounts from those who live or work within the tri-county region.
