Southwest's Economic Forum Set

DALLAS - Southwest Corporate's 28th Annual Economic Forum -New Thinking for A New Economy - is set for Oct. 26-27th at the Westin Galleria in Dallas. It features a number of experts and economic leaders including the following: *Peter Ricchiuti-Assistant Dean of Tulane University's business school. *Bill Hampel-Chief Economist for CUNA. *David Smith-A Dartmouth and Stanford-trained economist who provides insights on energy industries. *Ray Perryman-A Texas-based economist who hosts a radio show. *Charles Idol-Well-regarded credit union economist and A/LM expert. *Joe LaVorgna-Chief Fixed Income Economist for Deutsche Bank Securities. The "early bird" registration fee is $300 per person and CUs can sign up at swcorp.org. Also, on Oct. 25 Southwest Corporate will offer tours of its new headquarters building set to open in about a month and a half.
