Calcasier Federal Employees Credit Union, Lake Charles, La., has announced that President/CEO Gale Lebato has died at the age of 63. Lebato received the Louisiana Credit Union League's Professional of the Year award in July for her service as a credit union professional and tireless efforts and continuous work on the local, state and national level to advance the ideals and philosophy of the credit union movement. Lebato was a huge supporter of the credit union movement and devoted much of her life to Calcasieu Federal Employees CU. In addition, she was very involved with the Lake Charles Credit Union Chapter and was instrumental in the Chapter's support of Children's Miracle Network over the years.
