CARSON CITY, Nev. - Greater Nevada Credit Union is one of several sponsors of an annual expo here that provides business assistance and economic analysis to Northern Nevadans. The Northern Nevada Development Authority's 2005 Business and Tech Expo will take place Oct. 6. Event officials are expecting up to 1,000 business and industry professionals and more than 70 vendors. The $445 million Greater Nevada CU along with US Bank, which is the title platinum sponsor, Charter Communications, SmartBrand, Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, Nevada Appeal and the Northern Nevada Business Weekly are co-sponsors of the expo. The keynote speaker will be John Mitchell, economist for U.S. Bancorp's western region, who will discuss the issues that affect business growth in Northern Nevada.
