SAN DIEGO - CUjobs.com, an online job posting site for credit unions, is now donating 20% of its proceeds to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the service's creator says. Launched in April, the site at www.cujobs.com provides job listings for executives, managers, lending positions, tellers, IT, marketers and vendors. Job postings cost $1 a day. Job searches are free. "Since starting CUjobs this year, philanthropy is the part of the business plan that I've been most looking forward to," says Mike Lawson, president of CUjobs.com and a public relations and marketing specialist for several tech vendors in the credit union space. "My goal is to donate the majority of CUjob's proceeds to philanthropic ventures. I decided to start with LIVESTRONG as it's an organization that I truly believe in. As the business grows, I look forward to adding other organizations that we can give back to," Lawson says. The CUjobs.com site has a link to bicycling champion Armstrong's Austin-based foundation for the fight against cancer at www.livestrong.org.
