RIVERDALE, Utah - Sheryl Cox, a 23-year veteran of America First CU, was named VP over governmental affairs for the $3.1 billion CU. In her new position, Cox coordinates all governmental and political activities for America First. She succeeds Barney Chapman who recently retired. Cox began working at America First CU in 1972 as a loan typist. She was promoted in 1976 to assistant manager West Area branch and continued in that spot until 1980 when she became East Area Branch Manager. Cox left America First in 1981 and was rehired in 1991 as oan officer over loan promotions and employee loans. She also worked as a loan trainer and marketing administrator. America First CU has more than 370,000 members.
