MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. - Cavion Plus is now offering its thousands of clients a knowledge management base from credit union specialists SilverCloud Software. Developed by company co-founders Rick Blaisdell and Bob Mancarella, the software uses a natural language engine and is installed with more than 1,000 questions aggregated from New Hampshire-based SilverCloud's 20 or so charter credit union users. The knowledge base then grows as more questions are received and answered at the credit union using the system. "The addition of SilverCloud Knowledge Management will allow credit unions to answer the large majority of member online questions instantly, and effectively manage all incoming questions to ensure they're answered," says Sra Erdman, product manager for Cavion Plus (www.cavionplus.com), which provides Internet services to more than 1,400 credit unions. There already are about 95 credit unions using SilverCloud software, and the company has added 11 clients in the past two months, according to account executive Scott Cornell at SilverCloud (www.silvercloudsoftware.com).
