HALES CORNERS, Wis. - On April 14, over 100 members attended Corporate Central Credit Union's Annual Meeting at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Three directors were re-elected to fill three-year terms. They were, Gerald A. Forsythe, President and CEO of Altra Federal Credit Union in La CrosseI; Greg A. Hilbert, President and CEO of Fox Communities Credit Union in Appleton; and Brian J. Prunty, President and CEO of CoVantage Credit Union in Antigo. Corporate Central's meeting also had a vendor angle to it, which is becoming more popular among corporates. Its "Partner Showcase" included Corporate Central business partners American Security, Business Lending Services LLC, Elan Financial Service, JPMorgan, US Bank, CUNA Mutual and the Wisconsin Credit Union League. In other news from Corporate Central, it has named Michele Vukovic been as Human Resources Manager, a newly created position within the corporate. She has worked for 10 years in HR and has a Masters in Human Resources - Labor Relations, a Masters Certificate in Mediation and Negotiation and a Bachelors Business Administration in Industrial Relations. The corporate is also keeping up its presence in Illinois and Minnesota. At the recent Minnesota Credit Union Network and Illinois Credit Union League Conventions, credit unions and Corporate Central partnered to benefit local Children's Hospitals. At each convention a PUTT for Charity game was played where attendees had the chance to putt for a hole-in-one. Each hole-in-one represented a $5 donation to the local Children's In addition to the PUTT for Charity game, Corporate Central donated $5 to the local Children's Hospital on behalf of each credit union representative who attended a charitable breakfast in Minnesota and a luncheon in Illinois. Corporate Central has members in both Minnesota and Illinois. Credit unions in Wisconsin will have a similar opportunity to partner with Corporate Central to raise money for Children's Hospital of Milwaukee at the Wisconsin Credit Union League convention in Green Bay, Wisconsin from May 12-14, 2005.
