CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Companies still overwhelmingly prefer to pick and choose for best-of-breed client security products over client security suites, good news for smaller vendors and purveyors of innovative standalone products. That's according to a recent Forrester Research report by analyst David Friedlander. However, he adds, "As functions like client firewalls and anti-spyware mature, companies will be more likely to buy these as part of product suites," a shift that Friedlander expects to see by the end of next year.
