At Alliant, Pereira succeeds Bob Newcomb, now the CEO at Indiana State University Federal Credit Union. Pereira, a graduate of Cal State-Northridge, also has been a vice president with Schools Financial CU in Sacramento, Calif., and a programming manager and IS vice president at Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Calif. He starts his new job with Alliant on May 16.
