D.C. League Joins Virginia in Working With Fiserv EFT

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Credit union members of the District of Columbia Credit Union League will now be able to join credit union members of the Virginia League in accessing Fiserv EFT's services, the electronic funds service provider announced. This includes access to shared branching through Fiserv's relationship with Credit Union Service Corporation through its Next Generation Network Switch as well as debit and other EFT services. Currently, 90 Virginia credit unions out of a possible 220 federally and state chartered members use Fiserv services along with 14 D.C. League members. Fiserv and the Virginia League have had a relationship since 1989. The D.C. league recently announced merger plans with the Maryland CU League. The matter still has to be voted on.
