BATON ROUGE, La. - APPRO Systems has introduced the latest version of its consumer loan automation system which it says contains a number of upgrades based on user input. Improvements in LoanCenter Consumer 3.1 include such things as "the massive expansion of possible quality factor assignments," says Brian Buzzaird, lending systems manager at $2.9 billion VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla. "Although this may seem like a simple change, it has a profound impact on the lending community because it enables us to better assess and assign specific paper grades to our risk-based pricing structures," says Buzzaird, president of the APPRO Users Group. APPRO Systems, which was recently acquired by Equifax, added more than 30 new expert system rules and other enhancements to LoanCenter Consumer's risk-management functions, the company says.
