U.S. Central Elects Four New Board Members

LENEXA, Kan. -U.S. Centrals' new board took shape during its recent 31st annual meeting. Re-elected to a three-year term as Class A-1 director was Ed Fox, president/CEO, Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU. David Brehmer, president/CEO, First Carolina Corporate CU was re-elected to a three-year term as a Class A-2 director. John Franklin, EVP, CUNA & Affiliates was elected as a non-corporate director, replacing retiring Pete Crear, EVP, external relations for CUNA. Franklin's term expires in 2008. Rosie Holub, president/CEO, Missouri Credit Union Association was also elected as a non-corporate director. She was appointed in April 2004 to the seat vacated by the resignation of Paul Mercer. Holub will serve the remainder of Mercer's term which expires in 2006. New board members include: David Preter, president/CEO, Mid-States Corporate FCU - Chairman; Tom Kuehl, president/CEO, Iowa League Corporate Central CU - Vice Chairman; Joe Herbst, president/CEO, Empire Corporate FCU - Treasurer; and William Walby, president/CEO, Central Corporate CU - Secretary. Kathy Garner, president/CEO, Northwest Corporate FCU, also serves on the U.S. Central Board.
