BOISE, Idaho - Database Management Services (DMS) has integrated its HomeCU Internet banking service with three new check image vendors, bringing to 21 the number on its list of check imagers. The new additions are the Federal Reserve's FedImage, Volunteer Corporate CU and Palmetto Cooperative Services. "In the past year, we've seen a dramatic increase in the number of credit unions who want to offer their members online access to check images," said Jan Brinkerhoff, vice president of DMS. HomeCU currently is used by more than 260 credit unions in 44 states. In addition to Check 21 implications, "as more members discover the ease and convenience of online banking, they tend to ask for more online services that were traditionally delivered by other means. Images of paid drafts are just another convenience that members now expect in their home banking," Brinkerhoff said.
