PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - Service Credit Union has upgraded its contact center to allow its far-flung membership access to a credit union representative around the clock every day. The $875 million CU serves the military and Department of Defense employees and families and has 14 branches in Germany, eight in New Hampshire and one in Massachusetts. "Members can call the credit union at anytime - day or night, seven days a week, and talk to a `live' credit union representative. Members conduct their credit union business, when it's most convenient for them," says Gordon Simmons, President/CEO. The contact center upgrade now allows members to do such things as apply for loans, open new accounts, transfer funds and request withdrawals no matter the time of day. Service CU also offers Internet banking and shared and cooperative branching and 24-hour automated phone service.
