Passageways Portal Popular With Summit CU Clients

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Minneapolis-based City-County Federal Credit Union has become the latest credit union to commit to the portal solution from Passageways LLC, a CUSO of Purdue Employees FCU (see related story on page 32). The $417 million CU now has nearly 20 credit unions on board since it launched the corporate portal solution in April 2003. Nine of them, including City-County, are Summit Information Systems core processing clients, Passageways officials say. "A lot of our Summit based clients have begun to tie their Passageways portal to different applications, including Summit's browser-based platforms," said Christopher Beltran, a Passageways co-founder. "After careful analysis, the folks at City-County FCU determined that our corporate portal solution is fully compatible with their current systems and future integration projects," he said. Mary Doyle, the CU's CFO and vice president of IT, said, "We have looked at Passageways several times in our search for an intranet solution. Each time they offered more options and integrated with more of the business tools we already use."
