ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union has donated some $6,000 to the Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network helps Alaska Children's Hospital offer critical health services to children from all over the state. The majority of the funds were raised through "Twice the Help," a matching program Denali Alaskan FCU developed this year. For every donation members made, the credit union contributed the same amount, doubling the members' donation. Nine credit union staffers also manned the CMN phone bank during a recent telethon, helping raise the remaining funds. "Supporting the health and well-being of Alaska's children was the logical next step," said Denali Alaskan FCU President/CEO Robert Teachworth.
