LoanLink Center Enhanced to Improve CUs' Indirect Lending Opportunities

MADISON, Wis. - The LoanLink Center, a credit union system-owned lending call center, has added two new platforms of tools designed to improve credit unions' indirect lending opportunities and provide better member service. The first enhancement is DealerTrackT, a point-of-sale, Internet-based auto dealer loan application system currently used by more than 23,900 dealers throughout the U.S. The risk analysis and real time auto-decision tool works seamlessly with the LoanLink Center to match members with loans from their credit unions. The second enhancement is new account inquiry and transaction capabilities that allow a member using LoanLink Center to call or e-mail to check account balances and direct funds to be transferred among accounts. In addition, members can apply for and receive approval on consumer loans and become prequalified for mortgage loans. The LoanLink Center was formed in October 2002 by CUNA Mutual Group and APPRO, a leading provider to credit unions of comprehensive, automated credit risk management and financial technologies for lending environments.
