MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. - Liberty Enterprises has donated $10,000 to the newly created California Wildfires Fund that was announced October 30 by the California Credit Union League. The fund, established by the National Credit Union Foundation, will aid credit union victims of the recent Southern California wildfires. "Our donation goes out with our heartfelt wishes for all those tragically impacted by these fires," said Liberty President/CEO Stan Hollen. A former California resident himself, Hollen was president/CEO of The Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento before joining Liberty. Liberty also operates a check manufacturing facility in Simi Valley, a northern suburb of Los Angeles that was located in the path of the fires. The company said reports showed employees and their families were safe and the plant managed to continue to operate at its normal production routine.
