ENUMCLAW, Wash. - White River Credit Union is the first credit union in the western part of the state to participate in a multi-state project, Economic Power Project, to serve the unbanked or underserved minority populations in seven Western states. The Hispanic community is the target population in Washington State. White River CU has been working with the local Hispanic community for several years, providing loans and other services. As part of its Economic Power Project efforts, White River CU will expand its services to the community and offer financial education classes and encourage members of the Hispanic community to join the CU.
