NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich.-CU Village has stepped up its efforts to help young adults from age 15 to 18 make savvy financial decisions with the launch of its Young Adults Web site. With a theme of "It's Your Life. Are You Ready?" the site introduces such topics as building good credit and correcting credit mistakes, interviewing for a job, and investment basics. The latest site rounds out a three-part youth module designed to help credit unions reach the younger market, which includes a Kids site dubbed "the Early Bird Savings Club", and a Teen site for those age 13 to 15. The sites are available on CU Village's Young Investors channel of Members' Marketplace. "We're delighted to add this new module to our Members' MarketplaceSM Web site content service," said Todd Mason, chief operating officer for CU Village. "It's part of our ongoing commitment to provide added value to our products and services, and promote youth financial literacy." In addition to offering the Early Bird, Teen and Young Adults Web sites as part of their Members' Marketplace content services, CU Village also plans to offer the sites as a separate bundled package at a special promotional price for the first year. All programming, site design and content development for the Young Investors channel was created by CU Village's Web development and content staff.
