ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Scott Hunt has been selected as Region II's new associate regional director of operations starting July 14. In his new post, the NCUA veteran will be responsible for managing the Region II divisions of Insurance, Supervision, Special Actions, and Administration. Hunt is currently a senior investment officer with NCUA's Office of Strategic Program Support and Planning. He has served at NCUA for 14 years shifting from a Region II field examiner to supervision analyst and director of Insurance for the region. "Scott Hunt epitomizes what is good at NCUA," NCUA Executive Director Len Skiles said. "Because of the dedication and effort he puts forth, Scott is one of the many whose work ethic, diverse experience, integrity and skill continually moves the agency forward, and I'm pleased to see him emerge as one of the next generation of agency leaders." Hunt earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and holds an MBA from George Mason University in Virginia. He is a certified public accountant and working to complete his chartered financial analyst designation.
