ANCHORAGE - Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union has become the first credit union here to offer large-type statements to members who may have problems reading their current statements. With membership groups such as the Mabel T. Caverly Senior Center and the AARP, Denali Alaskan FCU President/CEO Bob Teachworth says partnering with its statement printer Alaska Laser Printing & Mailing Services to make easier-to-read statements was just a natural. "It was a natural opportunity to offer members who may have reading problems with a solution to their concerns," said Teachworth. "We understand the additional cost of paper and postage will add to our monthly costs, but it's a small price to pay to maintain our `MemberPlus Service' commitment to members."
