SAN DIMAS, Calif. -Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc., an international credit union shared service center network, has paid $320,000 in patronage dividends to shareholders. The cash payout came from acquired transactions performed in the last four and one half months of 2000. In March 2002, FSCC distributed a patronage dividend of approximately $1.1 million for 2001. The dividend was paid to shareholders for acquired transactions. Officials at FSCC predict the patronage dividend for 2002 will be roughly $1.3 million. Within the FSCC shared branch network there are over 370 branches in the U.S., Guam, Japan, South Korea, Puerto Rico and Italy. These branches, in combination with the national network, make up the over 800 shared branches in the U.S. shared branching world. FSCC is currently working with another 150 credit unions in 23 states representing 600 new branches. In addition, 28 branches in Hawaii will be added before year-end.
