MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. - Liberty Enterprises was named one of Twin Cities Great Places to Work by The Business Journal newspaper. The business publication's annual awards program recognizes companies that provide a positive working environment and develop innovative programs to retain and attract employees. According to a Liberty release, the company earned the award by being one of the top scoring companies on random employee attitude surveys and telephone interviews. The high rating was also based on a review of Liberty's extensive employee benefits program. The honor was given to only 19 companies with headquarters in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Liberty Founder and Chairman David Copham said the award "is a testimony and tribute to the efforts of all 900 of our employees. We've used a team approach to develop an environment that rewards hard work and innovation. As a result, our employees feel this is a unique place; a place that values their efforts."
