FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Carroll Beach, former president of the Colorado Credit Union System, has been named executive consultant with the CU Association of the West, an umbrella organization for credit unions on the West Coast, it was announced Monday. Beach, who was with the Colorado league for almost 30 years until his retirement this year, will assist in coordinating interaction and joint programming offered to credit unions in California, Oregon and Washington. The association, a joint effort of the California, Oregon and Washington credit union leagues, has said it plans to expand its fee-based products and services nationwide. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with the leaders at each of the leagues involved in the CU Association of the West to help come up with a series of agreements and programs that unlock significant benefits for everyone," Beach said. Beach's hiring was formally announced on July 29. He has been working with the association since June.
