WATERLOO, Iowa - The membership of Heritage Credit Union and the board of directors of John Deere Community Credit Union have approved the merger of the two credit unions. JDCCU is the largest credit union in Iowa. It has more than $634 million in assets and 92,000 members. Heritage CU has $13.4 million in assets and about 4,000 members. The official date for the merger is Jan. 2, 2002. JDCCU's eleventh office will include a main lobby, six teller windows, three private offices, a two-lane drive-up, ATM, and a night drop. Current JDCCU members will be able to start using this office on Jan. 2.
