Becker joins NCBA
WASHINGTON-NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker has been elected to a one-year term on the National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA) board of directors at its recent annual meeting. "I'm proud to be elected to a leadership position at the National Cooperative Business Association," Becker said. "I will be representing the credit union community in an association whose members are drawn from a wide spectrum of our economy and deliver vital services to the American consumer." With five open seats on the board, only Becker was elected in 2001. Credit unions are well represented on the NCBA Board. CUNA Executive Vice President and COO Pete Crear is serving his second term as chairman.
