Pawtucket Credit Union, R.I., has been presented the "Credit Union with the Most Heart" award by the American Heart Association for selling the most hearts to PCU members. Fifteen credit unions across the state helped raise money for the association by selling hearts for $1 each. PCU's 540 Broadway branch raised over $1,400. PCU has over $430 million in assets and serves 49,453 members. Campus Credit Union Council, Washington, has held its first Hall of Honor Ceremony, which recognizes contributions to the CCUC and the college student credit union movement. The inductees include Harry Blaisdell, the first executive director of the CCUC; Larry Blanchard, former CCUC advisory board chairman and current senior vice president at CUNA Mutual Group; Margaret Snow, former vice chair of the CCUC advisory board and former special assistant to the executive director of the associated students of UCLA; and the National Credit Union Foundation, for its support of the CCUC through a five-year grant that has given the CCUC a sound foundation for the future.
